Her extraordinary designs express the joy of life in simple everyday things. One year, when Rudolph and the gang were all nearing around seven years of age (that's the teen years to you and me) they would act out by ringing their bells, stamping their hooves, giggling and rolling their eyes at each other. The Canadian artist Heather Goldminc has created a body of work to please the eye and delight the senses. Claus before a roaring fire and dream of Christmases yet to come. Santa had to stifle a giggle at the sight of the tiny one slipping and ending up sprawled on the ice. Santa soon felt their attitudes were just too sassy when they refused to heed his instructions at sleigh pulling practice, or worst yet, not show up at all! With careful deliberation between he and Mrs. Soon, however, there was a knock at the door and Santa found eight teary-eyed reindeer hanging their heads low feeling quite ashamed of themselves.
